'Historical Pastime' board game, depicting the history of England from William the Conquerer in 1066 up to the reign of George IV in the 1820s. The board is printed on paper backed onto cloth, and folds up for storage in a cardboard slipcase. The board consists of depictions of events or portraits relating to the history of England set within medallions in a spiral leading to a portrait of George IV in the centre. The exact date of publication is not marked on the board or case, but the last event listed on the board is the death of Queen Caroline in 1821.
