doll (pastimes: toys)

Doll, the main body of which is made of porcelain. The doll wears blue felt trousers and soft leather boots, tied around the ankle with red cotton. Over the trousers is a woollen apron, woven with different coloured wools. The top half of the body is also covered in woven material, apart from the back, which has exposed sections. The doll wears a large red hat which curves towards the top. Over the hands and forearms are soft leather gloves, also held into place with red cotton. Label: one black exhibition label, printed.
