Painted wooden toy elephant. The surface is chipped in several areas. It looks as though it was once painted mainly white but the glaze has yellowed. It has been painted with green, black, red, yellow and gold details, including a saddle and decoration on the head and trunk. It has a very wide head, with small tusks and ears flat at the sides of the head. It is attached to a wooden base, painted green.
