Twelve blocks of paint and two samples. The paints are rectangular and has an impressed design on the top with an inscription denoting the colour of the pigment, including Prussian blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine, chrome, emerald green, ivory black, Vermillion, Indian red, yellow oker, burnt sienna. The underside are stamped with the maker's information. There are two broken samples, one is orange-brown in colour and the other black.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
