A small clay container. Nigeria. Possibly 19th century. The container has a rounded base with a straight neck and rim and is unglazed. A section of the rim has been chipped. There is a partially ripped sticker on the base that reads "Benin / 97". It is written in the same hand as similar labels that reads "From Benin / West C. Africa / 97".
