jar (containers)

Large jar of balustre shape with short neck tapering towards the mouth rim. On a splayed foot with low footring and recessed base. The body is fine, white porcelain, painted with cobalt blue decoration under a shiny, clear glaze; both mouth rim and foot rim are unglazed. The exterior body is depicted with a mountainous landscape with two pine trees, two deer and a crane. A band of triangle-work round the neck, a dentate band round the foot.
