Small porcelain wine cup with curved sides, flared rim, low foot and recessed base. Decorated with cobalt blue pigment painted under clear glaze. A landscape scene is painted on the exterior body with a pine tree and rocks. A mark on base reads: 'ruo shen zhen cang'. Blue and white cups with the same mark were first produced in the Kangxi period, 1662-1722, but the character 'zhen' is written in a different way. This cup is possibly a later copy of a Kangxi original, which would be larger and where the mark would be encircled by a ring.
