Victorian birthday card in the form of a book. The cover is made from 'laced' die cut and embossed paper. On the front, within a circular border is a birthday greeting. Below this is an embroidered floral design, using the holes in the paper as the support. On the back is an embossed depiction of two figures and a camel. Below this, the words 'L'amour' are embroidered. Inside the cover are 4 sheets of pink textile. The spine has a green ribbon along its length, tied in a bow. Another 2 pieces of green ribbon are attached to the outer edges so that it can be secured shut.
