Scale consisting of a bone scale beam marked in black dots with remains of two red tassels attached, a brass pan with four pierced holes and tied with four threads suspending from a brass lobed ring fitted at one end of the scale beam, sliding along which is a detached pyramidal brass weight tied to a loop thread. The weight is stamped with a maker's mark, yuexinglong zao, meaning made by yuexinglong, on one side.
