Afghan ‘Khyber knife’. The T-section single edge blade is characteristic of these weapons. The grips are made from 2 pieces of bone, and the pommel is made from 2 pieces of horn inlaid with pewter (or zinc) pins. In its leather covered wooden scabbard. Combined use of bone and horn for the hilt of this particular sword suggests that it is a Pathan tribal weapon. 712 mm long.
