Afghan ‘Khyber knife’. The T-section single edge blade is characteristic of these weapons. The grips are made from 2 pieces of bone, and the pommel is made from 2 pieces of horn inlaid with pewter (or zinc) pins. Combined use of bone and horn for the hilt of this particular sword suggests that it is a Pathan tribal weapon. 712 mm long.
