
Circular plaque, the centre of beaten copper, the outer edge of brass, similar in form to a tray, with lobed edges and slightly everted rim. Relief decoration, embossed in repousse technique followed by engraving and chasing, depicting Lord Ganesha, crowned and flanked by two female attendants, each carrying a whisk in one hand. The attributes he is holding are a goad, a rice cake, a water lily and a book. The figures are surrounded by floral detail. The central part depicting Ganesha is a copper plaque to which an outer edge of brass has been soldered.
