Polearm ('da dao', or 'large sabre') with long single-edged blade of steel applied with ochre-coloured coating, which has a protuberance on the back and is up-curving towards the point. Ovoid brass guard with four holes and ribbed rim. Long wooden shaft with three brass rings mounted below the guard; four brass flower motifs inlaid on the shaft between the rings.
