Model canoe, made up from many sections of wood which are sewn together with plaited plant fibre, passed through holes made in the edges of the wood. These holes have then been plugged with mud or clay. Both ends finish in a point which curve underneath. There is a slat at the top centre of the boat, which has writing carved into it. This reads: "PAA MUPT".
