Fan made of wood and decorated with two dragons covered with gold leaf, with detailing in black and red lacquer. One dragon has a houju in its claw and another object held in its tail. The fan has a central rod, which is rectangular in section and has a curved wooden frame inserted into a slot, with the two openwork opposing dragons set in the sides. The wooden rod is polished. There are silk tassels on cords at the top and bottom.
