[One of two] Raised sandals (geta) for a child (girl). Traditional name for style 'nikkou', but commonly known as 'koma-geta' in the Kanto area. Wooden base, lacquered orange, with design of wheel (in yellow with black surround) and plant (in yellow). Wheel design continuous across the two shoes. Painted black underneath. Thong (hanao) of rope covered with yellowish-brown velvet, painted in silver with a geometrical design. May have been used, but little wear. 145 d x 77 w x 30 h.
