Flag shaped club, from New Zealand, with a tapering shaft coming to a point and a blade shaped like a quarter circle behind the striking edge. This blade is decorated with a double spiral of piped and hatched decoration which is surrounded with distinctively Maori koru motifs. The blade is pierced to permit the attachment of a fibre of feather component which has been lost. Dark wood.
