A small embroidered silk bag, roughly square in shape. The upper half of both sides is made of satin, green on one side and blue of the other. The lower half on one side is made from cream satin, with five black painted Chinese characters. The obverse has an embroidered diamond lattice pattern worked in cream and green floss silk. Dividing the two fabrics are two braids, with identical patterns, with three rows of couched gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread. The bag has a black drawstring handle. Looped through the drawstring on each side is a tassel, green on one side, red on the other. The tassels are wrapped with gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread and have two knots above them. The bag is lined with red tabby woven cotton.
