Silver gilt brooch in the shape of a butterfly. The convex side decorated with repousse designs of phoenix feathers on wings with two phoenix heads soldered in the middle. The butterfly has a repousse 'shou' stylised character, meaning longevity, as lower body, while upper body and scrolling antennae are soldered above.
