Wood and wicker helmet. Oval, formed of a layer of coiled basketry with a tall crown and all round brim. Over this wide lengths of bamboo run down from the centre of the crown over the sides to reach the brim, where they meet a length of bamboo which runs around the top of the brim. Another length of bamboo runs around the edge of the brim.
