Headdress of cassowary feathers secured together in a row by a rafting technique of knots in bark fibre string. Between the two rows of knots a short length of the quills is painted with a white chalky paint and the knots themselves are painted red. Aboce the upper row of knots is attched a zig zag bands of coix lacryma seeds.
