Marble painted figure of seated Buddha in earth-touching mudra. The hair is painted black and the hair is indicated by small round raised bumps. The ushnisha has broken off. The lips, eyes and eyebrows are painted red. The elongated ear lobes have been broken. The eyes are downcast, the mouth small and smiling. The sash is worn over the left shoulder. The palm of the left hand faces upwards. The soles of the feet are turned upwards and are locked in padmasana. The plinth is carved and painted green.
