Painted mask carved from one piece of wood, with the lower part of the back open. The front depicts a face that is probably a female character, and has an aperture below each eye, through which the wearer could see. The face is bordered on the sides by a panel above and behind each ear, and above by a decorative band. Above this is a tall headdress of open arches of petals, with a further ring of petals above, which completely encircles the mask and is open at the top. The mask is also open at the back, and has an aperture at each side for securing. Ii is inscribed in crude capital letters inside: 'MASK OF QUEEN OP3. H.M.' A label pasted inside reads: 'MASK OF QUEEN H.M. OP3.'
