Large rectangular piece of barkcloth with slightly glossy painted decoration on one side. The textile is painted in black and brown designs. These created a centre panel surrounded by 4 borders. The panel consists of a black grid pattern on a brown ground surrounded by a solid black frame. The 2 borders containing black dentate patterns are separated by a cream border framed by solid brown lines. The outermost border is plain black.
