vase (containers)

Tall cylindrical vase on a circular domed base, with horizontal bands of floral decoration in cobalt blue under a copper-blue glaze. The band cpvering the main part of the body is of stems of flowers. Above are bands of petal motifs; below is a band of leaves above a band of stylised lotus petals. The base and interior are largely the natural colour of the clay, with the upper part of the inside glazed in turquoise.
