Tankard formed of a number of vertical staves with a hinged lid and a handle. There are bands of scrolling floral forms carved around the body as decoration, with the background painted red and the rest brown. There are eight wooden hoops surrounding the body of the tankard, four on the upper half and four on the lower half. The top of the octagonal lid is divided into sections by radiating lines, with a central knob. The handle has a carved B shaped projection below. There is inscription on inside of lid.
