Long-handled wooden ladle with a flat-bottomed, deep bowl. The handle is broad and flat, and widens towards a rounded tip. A shield shape has been cut from the top of the handle. Below this is a decoration of incised and blackened lines, which are repeated on the reverse and also on the lower part of the handle.
