11 identical rectangular cotton and silk textile samples. A single selvedge at the narrow end. Seemingly taken from a larger piece where the tabby woven centre field has a blue and orange chequered pattern. In one row, every other square contains a zigzag motif of inlaid metal-wrapped silver-coloured thread (discontinuous supplementary weft). The border is an open tabby weave worked with silver metal-wrapped thread wefts which interlock with the field wefts in a dentate pattern.
