14 identical rectangular samples of cotton and silk textile with one selvedge along the narrow end. Seemingly from a larger piece of cloth with a predominantly blue tabby woven centre field. The blue ground has a chequered pattern made up of thin yellow stripes and orange bands. Within alternate checks is an inlay pattern consisting of zig zag lines in metallic thread. A dentate line divides the main field from the border, which is in shades of orange.
