Spoon with shallow, round bowl made of coconut. The base of the handle is made of dark wood and has a small, round, inlaid, red coral. The main length of the handle is made from alternating bands of mother of pearl and metal. The metal bands are decorated with a cross hatch pattern on the upper side. The end of the handle is mother of pearl and pointed.
