On the right are two assisting judges, one holding a scroll, the other writing. A kneeling couple, the man holding a knife are expecting their judgement, a man holding a bamboo staff is standing next to them. Depicted below the railing are several judgement scenes (From left to right, top to bottom): 1. Two demons are pulling the hair of a kneeling, half-naked couple. 2. A couple are dumped into the Chamber of Grinding to be ground into powder, while three demons turn the grinder. The couple are punished for wasting food. 3. A demon is pulling the tongue of a woman, who is punished for gossiping and stirring up trouble. 4. A demon is beating two kneeling couples with a spiked club, as they were cold-blooded murderers.
