Spear which has been cut down to retain the upper 1350mm. The head takes the form of several stacked conical carvings above an arched shaped panel which is in the centre of the piece at its present length. This panel has been pierced with fretwork of various lenticular holes creating a knot work motif.
Possibly from the Kampong River area. see Moyne plate 14 for an almost identical design. This was a workaday object that any man would regularly have with him in the bush or on the river.
