vase (containers)

Two-handled vase in Amathus style, painted with horizontal bands of geometric motifs. It is painted with the face of the Great Goddess of Cyprus, based on the Egyptian goddess Hathor, on each side at the widest part of the body. Both Hathor and the Cyprus goddess were deities associated with mining and sex.
