Roughly rectangular, cream-coloured, tabby-woven Coptic linen fragment decorated with brown tapestry-woven bands. The textile is decorated with the remnants of 2 bands which divide into 5 bands of varying width. From each of the rounded tips a thin line with an ovoid at the very end extends into the cream ground. The narrower of the 5 bands are patterned with inward-facing toothed edging which has embroidery added to create a chevron-like pattern. The wider bands appear to have remains of embroidery showing a cream lattice pattern.
