Tower of Wonders
- Times: 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm
- Location: Education Centre
Join artist Charlotte Cranidge this February half term explore the wonders of the Horniman's collection. Dive deep into the Aquarium, marvel at artefacts from all corners of the world and gaze in awe of the natural world and all its creatures.
Capture the wonders of all these beautiful objects in your very own creative box, which we'll stack up high to make the eighth wonder of the world! #TowerofWonders

The Wonderful Horniman Trail
- Times: 10.30am-12pm and 1.30pm-3pm
- Locations: The Studio, Music Gallery, World Gallery and in Horniman’s Vision on the World Gallery Balcony.
We challenge you to explore the Horniman galleries to discover different kinds of wonders.
Search for our ‘wonderful trail’ checkpoints in the different galleries and you’ll be asked to complete a task or challenge to collect a stamp.
You can collect a trail from any checkpoint – The Studio, Music Gallery, World Gallery and in Horniman’s Vision on the World Gallery Balcony.
- Times: 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm
- Location: Hands on Base
Come and listen to stories inspired by the wonders of our collections and the wonderful world around us, with storyteller Paul Rubenstein.
Each session lasts around 45 minutes.
Recommended for ages 3+ but open to all.

Drop in to watch some short animations inspired by our new exhibition Brick Wonders. The animations have been created by second year students on the London College of Communication’s BA Animation course.
