Clarinet in C, boxwood, ivory mounts. In four sections. Eight brass keys, flat, square, mounted in turned blocks and ring. Bell scarcely flared. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 52.7 cm. Mouthpiece (marked: J. Wood fecit) is probably contemporary. Lacks bell ring. Barrel cracked. Mouthpiece broken at tip. Middle joint tenon chipped. Stamped: W. Milhouse 337 Oxford St. London (marked C).
