Oboe, dark varnished wood, unvarnished stepped bell, German silver mounts. Fifteen German silver keys, round, shallow-cupped, mounted on pillars. Two octave keys. Half-hole covered plated for first finger. Duplicate keys for F and G sharp. Twin holes for third finger. Thumb rest. Sounding length (length overall) is 56.0 cm. Compass to B natural. Lacks pad from long C sharp key. The top of the left-hand joint has been replaced. Stamped: Maino & Orsi Milan.
