Cornet in B flat, yellow brass throughout except for ornate German silver valve touches. Three Stölzel valves. Clapper key (for trills). Tuning slides in first bend of mouth-pipe and in valve loops. Hook for right fourth finger. Mouthpiece probably original. Crooks (circular) now for B flat, G and F only. Caps for valve touches. Small dent in bell expansion. Inscription on silver plate on bell: M.A. Fentum 78 Strand, London.
