Long ebony fingerboard with metal frets. Musical scale on each side with notes corresponding to the frets. Arched ebony bridge. Stamped at wrest pins: "By Royal Letter Patent". On the back, printed: "Trade Mark" and "Zither Violina". On the back, stamped: "T.W. Upcott, 26 Edgware Road, Hyde Park, W., Musical Instrument Manufacturer".
