toy house

Part of a wooden toy in the form of a Malay house in the form of a section of the 2-gabled roof. The section has a high gable and a wide sloping section, and can be detached from the house to allow access to the interior. The roof appears to be covered with palm fronds nailed in place with wooden crossbars. The side of the gable has 3 wide wooden slats going across. The second one down is decorated with a carved diamond motif. The narrower one at the bottom is carved to create a scalloped edge. The roof-line also has a scalloped edge. Under the sloping end is a triangular section covered by spaced bars (to allow for ventilation?).
