Kit. The body is boat-shaped. The fingerboard is of tortoiseshell, bordered by black and white edging. The scroll is ivory, carved into the shape of a cherub's head. Four wooden pegs and strings. The table is of reddish brown wood. Two C shaped sound holes have been carved either side of the wooden bridge. Black wooden tailpiece.
