Two row melodeon, Germany circa 1900. No serial number. Bellows frame is stamped: 'Chromatic Model, Bell Metal Reeds, Extra Full Tone, made in Germany.' 9.25" x 5.88" diameter black painted softwood ends with silvered decorations. Right-hand has 2 rows of domed metal keys: 10 + 9, and 2 rows of metal pallets, 4 reed bank knobs. Left-hand has 4 spoon bass levers, one spoon air lever. Later thumb strap, original left-hand leather hand strap. Nine-fold bellows, central fold thicker. Metal edging and securing clips, tartan papers.
