Concertina. Anglo-German system. Serial number 9 (ends) 17 (action). Oval paper label under left-hand end: 'HJ Journet, Manufacturer, 43 Totenham Court Road, London.' Also stamped on left-hand and right-hand: 'H Journet.' 6.38" diameter flat rosewood veneer ends, fully fretted. 21 keys: 10 each side + 1 air. Plastic-topped wood glued onto levers. Green leather straps, four brass eyelets, thin brass screws. Five-fold green leather bellows with large gold star and small gold dot papers. Nickel reeds riveted onto zinc plates, two each end, under action. In pencil on under action: 'JOURNET.'
