Glaive shaped deflector club, from Solomon Islands, with a long curved boomerang-shaped blade and a straight shaft terminating in a long conical pommel with a raised ring some distance from the end. These weapons were used by the attendants of warriors in duals to deflect arrows and club attacks. Made from dark wood.
