Alternated between these blue and white tiles are two tiles painted with overglaze polychrome decoration. The upper tile depicts the assembly of six officials in a sitting room. Two seated elderly are attended by a male attendant. Two military and two civil officials are standing in front, one of them is holding a baby. The lower tile depicts Zhong Liquan, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals, riding on lion back galloping above seawaves. He is grasping his emblem, a fan.
